Bio

Prachi has mediated and settled several matters in India and United States for 12+ years. She started her work in dispute resolutions in California with her first shadow-mediation at JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc.). Her extensive experience includes dealing with complex family settlements, corporate disputes and complex, multi-party, multi-issue disputes. She is particularly adept at dealing with matters that involve cross-cultural dynamics and high emotional content. She has worked with several Indian companies and high profile families looking for confidential settlements.

She has extensively researched on proposed mechanisms to increase dispute resolution in Indian corporate landscape as a Visiting Researcher at Gould Center for Conflict Resolution at Stanford University, California and also participated in the Advanced Mediation Program at Harvard University.

With the creation of TAG she has brought together some of the finest ADR minds in India and hopes that anyone who has a dispute will think of finding a solution before putting on the gloves to fight!

• Successfully mediated several commercial and family / divorce matters
• To help boost the spread of dispute resolution to grassroots level, Ms. Mehta led the conduction of trainings for the first batch of Art of Living mediators in India
• Worked with the district courts in Delhi since 2010 as a mediator to help alleviate the burden on the judicial system and to bring the parties to a balanced settlement of their dispute
