International Day of Persons with Disabilities – December 3, 2021

In  1992 the United Nations proclaimed International  Day of Persons With Disabilities. This year’s theme is:  “Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post- COVID – 19 world.”  https://www.un.org/en/observances/day-of-persons-with-disabilities

We are committed to  value the abilities and contributions of all people to our communities and our world. We affirm that we can become the better world in which we all wish to live if we recognize the rights, dignity and welfare of  persons with disabilities.   Let us strive to become a more just and inclusive society.

“Realizing the rights, agency, and leadership of persons with disabilities will advance our common future”.
