About the Organizers:

The Hong Kong Mediation Council (HKMC) was set up as a non-profit making division within the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre in January 1994. It is committed to promoting the development and use of mediation and other forms of ADR, training mediators and educating users on mediation, and encouraging collaboration amongst its members and with similar institutions or professional bodies. HKMC has been designated as a mediation institution to administer investment disputes between a Mainland Chinese investor and the Government of Hong Kong pursuant to the Investment Agreement under the framework of the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement.
