IAM 2026 Conference Registration

2026 IAM Spring Conference May 28 – 30 • Boston, Massachusetts, USA

EXPANDING YOUR PERSPECTIVE

Welcome to Boston! It’s home to 36 colleges and universities, thousands of cultural institutions, Fenway Park (the oldest active ballpark in the U.S.), and Boston Cream Pie. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, you can walk the Freedom Trail that marks crucial sites of the American Revolution. What a great place to welcome you to the IAM 2026 mediators conference!

This year’s conference theme is Expanding Your Perspective. Mediation can be a daunting task that engages the best and sometimes the most challenging aspects of people, culture, technology and community.  It’s a huge responsibility and undertaking to go it alone as a mediator — being the only one in that room who implicitly promises the parties a better outcome if they trust the process.   We’re going to hear from some of Boston’s greatest teachers, community members, musicians, and our own IAM Distinguished Fellows, sharing how they manage to stay present and connected when all around them can sometimes appear to be on the edge of collapse. Consider coming a day early and sign up for a special IAM walking tour that includes the Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market on Wednesday, May 27!
